FEWsteps – Hydrate Your Rising Energy

It is just as important to create new healthy habits, as it is to break free from old limiting ones.

Steadily introducing regular, positive actions is essential if you want to see long-term improvement in your health and overall well-being.

Those of you who know me well, know that I advocate the power of drinking water.  Drunk regularly, good quality water can have a huge impact on your life.  Dehydration is often at the root of many problems experienced.  Physical strength, vitality and motivation can all be improved by increasing your intake of water.

Emotionally, you may feel overwhelmed, agitated, or even depressed, just because your body is crying out for more water.  Mentally, a lack of hydration will leave you feeling lethargic and unable to focus your mind.  When dried out, even the simplest day-to-day tasks can feel like an unnecessarily heavy burden.

Tip:
Take a glass bottle of natural spring water to bed.  As you start to wake up in the morning,  reach for the water, and drink plenty.

Some people struggle to wake up with any real enthusiasm, because sleep has left them so dehydrated and therefore unmotivated.

Often people have the intention of getting a drink of water on rising, but either something else takes their attention, or they are so dehydrated they actually forget.

If you don’t already drink plenty of water on waking, then start a new habit and immediately influence your health and well-being.  As with the creation of all new habits, keep doing it until it becomes natural and easy.
